Lothar is a former head of media relations at energy giant RWE and has also been a senior advisor to one of Germany’s leading strategic communications agencies. He has particular expertise in crisis communications having worked in both employee and media relations during Germany’s audacious energy transition. He is often called on to help leaders break bad news such as redundancies or plant closures. He works with them to develop and deliver effective messages; and trains them to stay calm (and human) in the face of hostile questioning.
